Living in Mexico never ceases to amaze me, when I was younger and still today, anytime you see an advertisement, or news report on Mexico they always show you the worst, but I guess this can be said for any country, to me its kind of like, a foreigner basing their perception of the U.S after seeing the movie deliverance. Yes you get it, the deformed guy playing a banjo in the bush. Same similarities with people in the U.S or other countries, Thinking of Mexico as poverty stricken, but then again there are extremes, and I do not consider the border towns a perfect description of Mexico, mostly because most border towns can have a bad first impression on anyone crossing in to Mexico.
